| Glutathione is considered to be the most powerful, most versatile, and most important of the body's self-generated antioxidants. Glutathione is a tripeptide amino acid produced in the liver primarily from cysteine. It acts as a cellular antioxidant by inhibiting free radical proliferation. Reduced glutathione (GSH) is a linear tripeptide of L-glutamine, L-cysteine, and glycine.
